«The EP is a collection of songs written from the time of Gerten’s
formation to the present day. The keystone of the EP’s sound is the
combination of analog synth minimalism with the European avant-garde
influences. We’ve strived to achieve our own form of surrealistic
perception, constructing assosiative images and rigorously following
the pulse of the night, through the distorted reflection of which the
state of the modern world becomes apparent. The poetic aspect roots
itself exclusively in reflection and the stream of consciousness,
stimulated by the external world. Sarcasm naively points out rot.
Breaking through to the other side by way of uncompromising feeling
and intention, bereft of games. Filtering the flow of information by
thinking in images and concepts. Concentration on a single point is
everything, a passing impression – nothing. Seven songs, a view from
the depths of that place, where the paradigm is yet unformed.»
